Accommodations

This boat sleeps 5

The arrangement on the Bayfield 29 is a great deviation from the traditional layout found on boats of this size.

Starting aft by the companionway, there are quarter berths port and starboard.  The port berth also forms a seat for a large navigation table just forward.  Lockers are well placed and storage abounds.

Forward of the starboard berth is the galley.  The "L" shaped arrangement allows for good counter space and good placement of the sink and stove.  The galley has a 2 burner alcohol stove.  There is a shelf that folds up over the berth providing more counter space.  The large ice box is to port, forward of the chart table.

The bulkheads forward of the galley and chart table have panels that move up for a separation of the cabins, and down for a more open feeling to the cabin.

The main cabin has settee berths port and starboard.  There are abundant storage areas outboard and above each berth.  There is a floor mounted drop leaf table on the centerline through which the mast extends.

Forward of the main cabin is the very roomy head area.  There are numerous lockers and a hanging locker, as well as a vanity, marine toilet, and shower.

There are opening ports throughout the cabin for superb ventilation.  The forward hatch over the head area is also great for light.

The head features a manual head with a holding tank with Y-valve for overboard discharge. There is a sink and vanity in the head.

The galley features a single stainless steel sink; top load icebox and an alcohol stove. The fresh water foot pump has a capacity of 20 gallons.

The interior appointments feature white curtains; brown/plaid upholstery; fiberglass headliner and a teak and holly sole.
