“Talisker” is a great example of the well-respected Alberg 37 design. Built by Whitby Boat Works in Ontario, Canada she spent of her life in fresh water until the current owner brought her to Nova Scotia in 2000. “Talisker” is hull #208 and Is considered a Mark 2.

This Alberg 37 Yawl with its 5’6” draft is ideal for coastal cruising and with the proper preparation she is capable of blue water sailing!

There is a roomy V-berth with enclosed storage outboard. Aft to port is a marine head with a Jabsco toiler replaced in 2018. There is a Y-valve for a 17-gallon holding tank or overboard discharge. There is a hanging locker opposite of the head. 

The main salon features an L shaped settee that converts into a double to port and a straight sette to starboard. The table folds down off the bulkhead. There is storage outboard both port and starboard. To port aft is a quarter berth. The navigation station has a drop-down table. Opposite this is an L shaped galley with a propane Force 10 gimballed 3 burner stove and oven (from 2 x 5lb propane tanks), stainless steel sink with H/C pressurized water that is heated both of engine and 110 volts, and top loading icebox with EZ cold refrigeration. Ventilation and light is provided by a Dorade, 2 overhead hatches and 7 opening ports. The floor is teak and holly.
