Strong build, superior handling, ocean going capable are only some of the Cabot 36's legand.
This Cabot 36 has been lovingly cared for and maintained very well. The bright work is nicely varnished, the interior is clean with upgraded cushions, 2014 Blue paint on hull, 2018 mainsail, mast and boom paint. newer windows as well.
Many of the systems have been replaced as well as an engine rebuild in 2003(currently 343hrs since rebuild).
Cutter rigged with newer 135% genoa on Harkin furling and 2018 as new mainsail.

Blue painted(2014) fiberglass hull with white stripe and white boot top, pale blue fiberglass non skid deck, deck anchor well, double bow lifeline, two opening gates, one opening hatch over forward berth, teak opening sky light over main cabin, both openings fitted with removable screens. Five opening ports with screens, two stainless steel vents mounted on teak vent holders, self bailing cockpit, full keel with attached rudder, emergency tiller, 28” wheel with cover, folding teak table, newer fixed windows
Sleeps five. Forward cabin has vee berth with filler, lockers and hanging lockers. Separate entrance to head, privacy door. Main salon has dinette to starboard with folding table, L-shaped settee to port that converts into a double berth, quarter berth to starboard.
Provisions were made when table is folded for space to also be used as a berth.
Head equipped with a porta-potty toilet, stainless steel sink, shower, hot and cold pressure water, shower curtain. Manual seawater water pump for sink, laundry locker.
U shaped galley aft port side equipped with stainless steel sink, hot and cold pressure water, six gallon stainless steel hot water tank installed 2007. Engine and dock side hot water, also sea water foot pump for sink. 530 liters of fresh water in two tanks, i.e. keel cavity, with gauge, and forward tank under vee berth. Tanks are hooked up separate to fresh water pump with quick switch valve and separate filters. TASCO three burner with oven propane stove. Two chamber large ice box aft.
All cushions (turquoise) in excellent condition. Cabin windows, four large and four small opening ports replaced in 2002. All cabin lights replaced in 2005 with ceiling lights being duel white and read for night cruising. Teak paneling throughout main cabin including varnished teak sole, lockers and hanging lockers, navigation station to starboard aft.
Perkins 4-108 fresh water cooled 50 hp inboard diesel (major service 2003)(343 hours use since)ser# 36052178 New through hull fitting and water filter installed in 2008. Cruising speed at 5.5 to 6 knots, max speed at 2000 rpm @ 6.5 knots, with a three blade propeller with a 17 x 11 pitch, also spare propeller. Fuel dip stick for keel cavity. Fuel capacity of 225 liters in two tanks, i.e. keel cavity and aft fuel tank. Racore fuel filter plus Micro filter.
