"Marita IV" has been part of her family since 1973.
Most of her sailing has been in the waters of Nova Scotia but she did spend about ten years in Georgian Bay.
Primarily equipped with older electronics and original systems, she does have a newer Volvo Penta model 2003 29hp inboard diesel.
She has berths for nine but more suited for a family of five or less. Large head, full galley. Teak interior.
On deck she has Barient winches, Harken furling and electric windlass for ease of anchoring.
This is a classic ocean sailing design with sea kindly hull form.

Original white gelcoat fiberglass hull; white fiberglass non-skid deck; gold cove stripe; fin keel; balanced spade rudder; bow & stern pulpit; double lifelines; wheel steering; dodger frame & bimini.
Accommodations
She sleeps nine (9). Vee berth forward that sleeps two.
Next aft to port is manual head w/overboard discharge, holding tank; Y-valve; sink, vanity.
Opposite to starboard is a hanging locker.
Midship are two settees with pilot berths. To port is the galley. The galley is equipped with sink; top load icebox; propane stove w/oven; hot & cold pressure after; 265L water capacity in a stainless steel tank.
Final aft to port is a double berth and to starboard is a single berth. Interior appointments include: blue upholstery; blue carpet; teak cabin sole.
Engine & Electrical
Volvo Penta model 2003 29hp inboard diesel; cruising speed is 5.5 knots; three bladed fixed propeller; oil/water/temp alarm; bilge blower.
The electrical system is maintained through the charging of three batteries; battery charger; circuit breakers; polarity indicator; 110 volt shore power w/cord; cabin, navigation, spreader and anchor lights.
