The Millwrights Tug 27 operates as a small harbor working tug for marinas, marine engineering organizations and other construction organizations. The tug is a feature rich, well-built steel tug, great as a pull tug (3 Bollard Pull), or as a push tug, or as a line handling tug, or as a workboat with a lifting crane and front-loading deck.
Powered by a commercial duty John Deere diesel engine, ZF transmission and Shaft Drive makes this Tug easy to maneuver in the water.
The vessel is suitable for inland lakes and sheltered waters, the aluminum wheelhouse is easily moved from tug to workboat in minutes, and the front-loading deck provides for easy loading, with the HIAB 5100 crane available for easy lifting.
Built to Transport Canada TP1332 small craft rules and ABS scantlings for hull and structure. The hull is made of marine grade A steel and the wheelhouse is made from marine aluminum for lighter weight
