This is a one owner boat that is offered as an estate sale. The hull number indicates a construction date of 8/2008, but the boat was not sold by the dealer until 2010. The late owner had her launched each July in time for a month-long visit to his New Brunswick home. She made one cruise along the coast of Maine, otherwise she was used only for day-sailing about 6 times per season. This explains both the light inventory and the reportedly low engine hours. The owner always had a captain aboard who has maintained her. He is available to answer questions.

Construction

White fiberglass hull and non-skid deck; gray boottop and cove stripe; black bottom paint; InterProtect Barrier coat; deep draft iron fin keel with bulb; spade rudder; walk-through transom with integral swim platform and shower; twin steering wheels; emergency tiller; large self-bailing cockpit with fixed drop-leaf table; expansive substantially flush deck; double lifelines with two gates; bow and stern pulpits; 6 hatches; 6 opening ports. 

Accommodations

The yacht sleeps 7 and has 6’6” headroom. She is the two-stateroom, single head model.

The yacht has a roomy vee-berth stateroom forward with hanging locker to port and bureau to starboard; The main cabin has a settee to port with the navigation table on the aft end of it; a very roomy ‘U’ shaped dinette is to starboard with a table that drops to make a large double berth. The head is aft to starboard, approximately amidships. It has a manual Jabsco head connected to a holding tank and a ‘Y’ valve, sink with vanity and separate shower stall. There is a double stateroom aft to starboard with a hanging locker. The room galley is aft to port. It features a 2 burner LPG stove with oven; large ice box with 12 volt refrigeration; double stainless steel sinks with cutting-board tops; Microwave oven (never used); and generous counter and locker space. 

The yacht has (the original) cream coloured fabric upholstery. It has been slip-covered in both staterooms to prevent wear. The cabin sole and locker faces are wood/laminate. There is a vinyl head-liner. Ports all have screens, blinds or curtains and the hatches have retractable screens. 

Engine

Optional  2008  Yanmar model #RCD-4JH4AX1; 54 hp fresh-water cooled marine diesel inboard. There is no hour meter but the engine hours are reportedly very low (IE: <200. See Broker’s Comment); bilge blower; single lever control at the starboard helm; three bladed ‘Flexi-Fold’ propeller. 

Electrical System

The yacht has both 12 and 110 volt systems. The 12 volt DC system is supplied by an alternator on the engine through selector switches to 2 – 12 volt lead-acid batteries thence to a circuit breaker panel and on to lights and accessories. There is an automatic battery charger. The 110 volt system is supplied by shore-power connection. There is a 50’ – 30 amp shore-cord. 

While the yacht has room for large ‘8D’ type batteries, it is currently fitted with smaller ones in keeping with its light usage.

Rigging

US Spars aluminum mast, with in-mast furling, boom and fixed vang; stainless steel standing rigging; Pro Furl roller furling gear; 4 Lewmar self-tailing  winches: 2 X #46 sheet winches; 2 X #40 halyard winches by the companionway; internal halyards; main sheet traveller mounted forward of the companionway. 

Sails

By Neil Pryde: in-mast furling Mainsail; 135% roller furling Genoa; A-Symmetrical Spinnaker with ‘snuffer’ (reportedly used twice).

All by Raymarine: VHF; Tri-Data Depth and Speed with repeaters at each helm; ST 60+ AUTO PILOT; wind instruments; ‘C’ series GPS – Plotter (needs repair). Two Plastimo compasses.
