2003 Valiant 42 Cutter
Rare low hour, one owner Valiant 42.
"Double Cross" has primarily sailed the waters of Atlantic Canada until this fall when she cruised south to Antigua in November. She returned home in May.
She is fully equipped with Garmin electronics, water maker, furnace, self steering gear, life raft and more.
Two double cabins, large Head w/separate shower, offshore designed U shaped galley and exceptional woodwork throughout.
"Double Cross" is available for viewing within 30 minutes drive of the Halifax International Airport.
Her photos were taken June 13/17 and represent a clean, cared for example of this ocean ready sailboat.

The Valiant center entry queen is configured with the companionway on centerline and a large queen-sized V-Berth forward. Private V-berth forward and private aft cabin both with underneath storage, cedar-lined and vented hanging lockers, and drawer storage. This floor plan is very efficient in that it provides for excellent storage space and room to entertain guests. The keel-stepped mast is located at the bulkhead between the galley and main salon (not in the middle of the table) so it does not block the view between the main salon settees. There are handrails running fore and aft along the cabin sides low enough for every member of the crew to reach along with many other hand-grabs strategically located throughout the interior.
The u-shaped offshore galley allows everything to be within arms-reach, even the slide-out trash bin and the sliding pantry shelves. The forward facing nav station features a large chart table with storage underneath and instrumentation and control panel at your fingertips. The head is located aft and to starboard of the companionway which makes it very convenient to the cockpit and keeps the interior dry with the teak grate at the foot of the companionway and the wet locker located just outboard of the separate shower stall.
