1999 Doral 360 Se
RARE FIND: Twin fresh-water cooled Cummins-MerCruiser model -TW 4.2D-Tronic (6 cyl. in-line) DIESEL inboard engines
Bold styling is the hallmark of the Doral Boca Grande (called the Doral 360 SE until 2003), an eye-catching French-Canadian design whose forward-facing arch and curvaceous windshield made her a distinctive boat in a sea of look-alike family cruisers. She’s constructed on a conventional modified-V hull, fully cored with a wide beam and an integral swim platform. Her midcabin interior features an accordion privacy partition for the forward stateroom (instead of a curtain), an enormous head with a Lexan shower enclosure, and excellent cabin ventilation. Note that the 360’s full-size refrigerator is a rarity on a 36-footer. Topside, there’s seating for up to eight in the cockpit with its doublewide helm seat, three settees and wet bar. Note that the entire aft cockpit deck rises on hydraulic rams for engine room access.
