When Carl Schumacher designed the Alerion Express 28, his focus was beauty.
"Alpheda" excludes the beauty of this timeless classic.
Finished in flag blue w/traditional silver cove, white waterline and red bottom, her teak both silver and varnished for effect, she's a standout in any harbour whether sailing or gently tugging at her mooring lines.
Nicely equipped with selftailing jib and full batten main plus a second set of sails to club race(including spinnaker) her purpose is simple; take me sailing.
Like all Alerion Express 28's she has a Yanmar diesel PLUS the desireable tandem axle trailer.

Finished in Flag Blue Imron fiberglass hull, white waterline, silver cove stripe, red antifouling, fin keel, spade rudder, tan non skid/white decks, varnished and natural teak, four fixed ports, one opening hatch, two cockpit lockers; tiller w/cover & extension.
Accommodations
Finished in traditional Hereshoff style of white bulkheads belowdecks to sleep three; varnished teak trim, fibreglass cabin sole. She has a V-berth forward and settee in main cabin; blue cushions; the teak-topped cooler doubles as a step down to the nav station; and portages potti. Her interior invites the occasional overnight; solid teak cockpit sole, varnished teak coamings and handrails.
