The interior of the Nonsuch 30 Ultra model is very spacious and unique. A very functional and easy to use accommodation plan.
Starting aft, one enters the cabin through a low companionway with only 3 steps. To port is a settee berth that extends slightly under the cockpit area. There are storage lockers below and a large shelf above the berth. At the aft bulkhead is a very large hanging locker. Under the berth is a water tank.
To starboard of the companionway is a very spacious "L" shaped settee, which converts to a double berth. A drop leaf teak table is in the middle, and this drops down very conveniently when the double berth configuration is to be used. A holding tank and the batteries are located under the settee.
Access to the engine is found behind the companionway steps and a locker door beside the steps allows for a quick inspection of the engine room.
Forward of the port settee is the functional "L" shaped galley. The galley features a stainless-steel sink, 12-volt refrigeration, Force 10 gimballed 2 burner propane cookers, with oven and hot and cold water.
The entire main cabin / galley area is extremely spacious.
Opposite the galley is a very spacious head. The head features a shower, sink, manual head and vanity. To forward within the head area is a separate shower stall, certainly unique in a 30' sailboat.
The stateroom is forward and there is a bi-folding door closing the area from the main cabin. A wide, double berth is to port. It is low enough for ease of entering, and the Nonsuch 30's beam allows for great berth width. Forward, next to the berth is a large hanging locker, and there are lockers at the forward end of the berth as well. A bureau is opposite the berth, to starboard. In all, a very spacious stateroom with room to change clothes, and enter the head area with a private door. Ventilation is great too.
