White fibreglass hull and non-skid deck; blue shear strake (2009) with red and blue boottop accent stripes, and blue bottom paint (bottom paint stripped 2009; CSC Micron ablative type applied since then) ; 8,000# displacement with 3,950# ballast; skeg-supported rudder; Whitlock wheel steering; emergency tiller; bow and stern pulpits with double lifelines (replaced 2007); blue dodger (2003); 2 hatches; 6 opening ports; cockpit scupper hoses renewed.

Accommodations

The yacht sleeps 5 and has 6’ headroom in main cabin. Vee berth forward; the original suede-like vee-berth covering was replaced by marine grade vinyl in 2012; enclosed head to starboard with Jabsco marine toilet (2015) connected to a ‘Y’ valve and 25 gallon holding tank (new plumbing 2011); vanity with sink, supplied by hot and cold pressure water, and linen storage; there is a hanging locker to port opposite the head; the main cabin has a settee to port and an ‘L’ shaped settee to starboard that will make into a double berth; there is a bulkhead-mounted drop-leaf table; there is a chart table and navigation station aft to starboard with a quarter-berth; the galley is opposite to port.

The galley features a two burner LPG (w/ electric solenoid shut-off; dedicated propane locker, new gas lines professionally installed 2006) gimballed stove with oven (stove professionally serviced 2006), stainless steel sink supplied by hot and cold pressure water; a six cubic foot ice-box and lots of counter and locker space.

The interior of the yacht is finished to the usual high standard of this builder: teak cane locker doors (custom additions 2006); teak veneer bulkheads; sea-foam green Sunbrella fabric upholstery (2000). The fresh water system is supplied by a 30 gallon tank via a Jabsco pressure pump (new 2010); hot water is produced either by shore power connection or by the heat exchanger on the engine; there is a Dickenson LPG heater/fireplace mounted on the port bulkhead (2009).

1985 Volvo Penta model #B2002, 18 HP, fresh water cooled (heat exchanger) marine diesel inboard; the heat exchanger was added in 1998; 18 gallon aluminum fuel tank; #316 Stainless steel shaft (1995); drip-less shaft-seal (renewed 2012); new engine mounts (professionally installed 2012); injectors cleaned (2009); new fuel pump (2007); new external cooling pump (2006); miscellaneous spare parts are included.

Electrical Systems

The yacht has both 12 volt DC and 110 volt AC systems. The 12 volt system is supplied by an alternator on the engine through a selector switch to two lead-acid batteries (1-deep cycle house battery was replaced in 2011. 1-starting battery replaced in 2010). The 110 volt AC system is supplied by shore-power connection. There is a 50’ 30 amp cord included. Power distribution is handled through two circuit breaker panels at the companionway. The yacht has a full complement of cabin and navigation lights, and an anchor-mast-head light (new 2009).

2 North sails (1985): fully-battened mainsail, working jib (new UV cover 2012) and genoa (Doyle 1986) & Drifter (asymmetrical spinnaker 1986); both jibs may be fitted to the Harken roller furling gear; jiffy reefing on mainsail managed from cockpit; mainsail cover (2003); genoa gear; whisker pole (new car 2010); 4 Lewmar self-tailing winches: 2 X #40 two-speed sheet winches; 2 X #30 halyard winches; reconfigured topping lift leading to the cockpit (2009); jib & genoa sheets (2009); mast inspection, sheave replacement, etc. (2009); main sheet traveller; internal halyards.
